R&B singer Beyonce entered into yesterday’s 2010 Grammy Awards, with ten nominations to her name, including Song of the Year and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance. And by the looks of things, she managed to win quite a few of them.
In fact, according to telegraph.co.uk, Beyonce won an amazing six awards out of the ten she was nominated for – the most won by a female artist at one event. This included the award for Song of the Year, which she won for “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It).

That same song also won Beyonce the awards for Best R&B Song, and Best Female Vocal Performance. The singer was also honored for Best Contemporary R&B Album for “I Am… Sasha Fierce,” and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for “Halo.”
And it looks like she could have gone home with seven awards last night, if her husband Jay-Z hadn’t of beaten her to the award in the rap/sung category. Jay-Z ended up with three Grammy Awards overall, which takes his career haul to 10 now.
