Lady Gaga and Sir Elton John: Grammy Awards 2010

In the few weeks leading up to the 2010 Grammy Awards, which took place in Los Angeles last night, there were quite a few rumors circulating that Lady Gaga would in fact be teaming up with the legendary Sir Elton John for a duet performance.

Well, if you actually watched last night’s awards ceremony on CBS, then you would know that the rumors were in fact true. And according to a report over at sfgate.com, their performance managed to get the Grammys off to a rousing start.

Both Lady Gaga and Sir Elton John are possibly known for being wizards at the piano, so it was only fitting that their Grammy Awards performance was a piano duet, which was made up by a number of songs from both the past and the present.

Sir Elton John was wearing his very own signature glitter glasses, and both he and Lady Gaga had a kind of soot makeup on. Their performance could definitely be classed as cool, because they had a mix of both past and present, and old and young.
