It appears that the awards just keep coming for young country/pop singer Taylor Swift. In 2009 she won an incredible amount of awards and now we are in 2010, it appears that she is receiving more. This time, it was a Grammy Award.
According to a report at music-mix.ew.com, at last night’s Grammy Awards ceremony, which took place in Los Angeles, Taylor Swift took home the award for Album of the Year for her “Fearless” album, which was in fact the biggest-selling album of 2009.

Swift winning the album of the year award definitely doesn’t come as a surprise, considering her huge popularity in the world of music. Ever since she first appeared on the scene, Swift has been going from strength to strength and her popularity has risen.
But Taylor was definitely up against some stiff competition last night, with her being up against the likes of the Dave Matthews Band for “Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King,” Lady Gaga for “The Fame,” Black Eyed Peas for “The E.N.D.,” and Beyonce for “I Am… Sasha Fierce.”
