Will Smith Political Career: Actor’s Possible Career Change

It appears that “Independence Day” and “Men in Black” star Will Smith, is considering a bit of a career change. According to a recent report over at showbiz.peacefmonline.com, Will Smith’s wife Jada Pinkett Smith says the actor is considering politics.

It was only a year ago, that singer and actor Will Smith, who is also well known for the NBC series “The Fresh Prince of Bell-Air,” ruled out any chance of a career change. But now it appears that he has had a change of heart, and is giving it serious consideration.

Jada Pinkett Smith says that Will did previously mull over the idea of life as a politician, but then decided that it would be more fun being a movie star. But now, his fans may see him move from Hollywood, to Washington D.C. instead.

And it seems that the Grammy Award-winning actor imagined himself becoming a U.S. president as well once. Will did in fact meet President Barack Obama quite recently, when he and his wife Jada interviewed the U.S. president after his Nobel Peace Prize win.
