Kim, who was dressed all in black, gave a really mellow and soulful rendition of the timeless classic “I Believe in You and Me.” And you could tell that Whitney Houston loved it, as she was seen jumping around in front of the stage.

Burrell, who is the daughter of a pastor in the Church of God in Christ, battled pneumonia for eight years when she was a child. Her very first independent album “Try Me Again,” was released by Pearl Records in 1995.
