The Office: New Love Interest for Michael

It looks like there could be new romance on the way for Steve Carell’s character Michael, on the hit show “The Office.” Some may say it’s a bit soon for Michael to date after the whole Pam’s mom fling/fiasco, but it appears that he may well have a new love interest.

According to a report at buddytv.com, “Office” showrunner and HR person Toby Paul Lieberstein, has revealed that Michael is going to meet someone. Apparently it’s the kind of set up where a group of people go out, and you don’t know you’re actually being set up.

But Michael soon realizes that he is in fact on a date-date and kind of flips out, and goes into his “date” mode. Not much information has been given on this storyline, but we do know that things go in a weird direction from that point on. What do you think of “The Office?”
