As we mentioned in a previous post, “Lost” returned to our screens last night for its sixth and sadly final episode. And if you were one of the people that got to watch last night’s premiere, then you may well have been left a little confused.
But according to popwatch.ew.com, Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof, who are among the producers of “Lost,” were on hand to explain a few things about the start of the sixth and final season. If you don’t want to know then don’t read on, as it contains spoilers.

If you watched last night’s episode, you will now be aware that the producers presented fans with two notions, that the Oceanic 815 never crashed, or the characters have been trapped in the Dharma Initiative past but on the Island present of 2007.
According to Lindelof, the idea to have season 6 depict a world where Oceanic 815 had never crashed, had been in play for the last couple of years. Lindelof then says that fans should keep an eye out for differences that they are not expecting.
When asked whether detonation Jughead was the event that created the new timeline, Lindelof didn’t want to give much away. Cuse on the other hand said that if things get too confusing, then people should watch the flash-sideways for what they are.
