The Vampire Diaries: Recap of Episode 13, Season 1

If you thought that “The Vampire Diaries” had got as good as it could get, then you may well have been mistaken. And I think last night’s episode, which was called “Children of the Damned,” was proof of that.

According to buddytv.com, we were back in 1864 in last night’s episode and it appears there were plenty of revelations too. And one of them was the fact that Damon really did love Katherine and wanted her to turn him.

We also discovered that Anna is the daughter of an old vampire friend of Katherine’s whose name is Pearl, who is one of the other 26 vampires in the tomb. And it looks like the present has just as many big twists as the past.

In last night’s episode, Damon learned the truth about Anna, while Alaric told Stefan about what Damon did to his wife. Meanwhile, Stefan managed to track down Emily’s spellbook in his father’s grave, but Damon then took it.
