Super Bowl 2010 Game Time: Wyclef has Haiti in his heart

While the Caribbean island of Haiti copes with the chaos, despair and death from last month’s devastating earthquake, the world’s most famous VIP’s are partying in luxurious fashion while they prepare for the Super Bowl 2010 game.

And according to a recent report at gadsdentimes.com, Wyclef Jean, who has in fact been an advocate for his native Haiti ever since the disaster happened, was just one of the stars in Miami for those said celebrations this week.

But Wyclef says that he understands that the festivities won’t stop, because of Haiti’s problems. He also said that he is partying with a purpose. Jean said “The Super Bowl is Super Bowl. Super Bowl in Miami is one of the greatest Super Bowls.”

He went on to say that the thing he loves about Miami, is the fact that they know how to party hard but at the same time, they don’t want to forget Haiti. And indeed, many stars have spoken out about Haiti this week, and even raised funds for relief aid.
