Sheryl Crow Joins Cast Of Cougar Town

There appears to be quite a lot of buzz surrounding the upcoming episodes of “Cougar Town” recently. And according to a report at ecanadanow.com, it’s because singer Sheryl Crow is all set to have a recurring part in the show.

She will apparently play Grayson’s new girlfriend, who will be cast as a wine distributor. Grayson, who is played by Josh Hopkins, is the recently divorced neighbor of Jules Cobb, who is played by former “Friends” star Courtney Cox.

And the fact that Sheryl Crow is in fact a good friend of Courtney Cox’s, has not escaped Hollywood insiders either. It appears that the show’s creator Bill Lawrence likes to give his roles, to friends of the show’s actors and actresses.

Unfortunately at this stage, ABC has not actually said how many episodes Crow will appear in, but the word ‘several’ has come up. “Cougar Town” is back for its second season with the ABC network, and airs on Wednesday nights.
