Drew managed to make 32 out of 39 passes for 288 yards, and scored a couple of touchdowns with no interceptions in the Saints victory. I think many NFL fans will agree when I say that Drew Brees deserved to win the MVP award.

Brees managed to set a career-high record with six touchdowns, going 26 for 34 with 358 yards during their very first game of the 2009 season. He also set the record for having the most amount of passing touchdowns on an opening weekend.

Besides just winning the Most Valuable Player award at the 2010 Super Bowl, Brees has earned himself other recognitions, which include the Maxwell Football Club’s Bert Bell Award and the Offensive Player of the Year.
