Yesterday we posted an article which looked into the possibility of a future UFC fight between Tito Ortiz and Mark Coleman, 69% of our readers wanted to see the fight go ahead, however it is not looking likely.
The UFC President Dana White feels as if Mark Colemans UFC career has “reached the end of the road”, therefore the chances of an Ortiz grudge match are low, that said White did have this to say about Coleman “I have nothing but respect for him” and added “I just think he’ll have a hard time competing with the guys at the top level. Age is a factor”
White didn’t seem too impressed with Ortiz’s outburst at UFC 109, especially due to the fact that Coleman had moments before lost “the fight that he wanted his whole life”, he then added “Tito’s fighting Chuck. I’m not even thinking about Tito-Coleman.”
I think it a shame that Coleman has seemingly reached the end of his UFC career, however ‘The Hammer’ will probably admit that fighting younger fitter fighters is becoming more and more of a struggle.
