Madonna’s manager Guy Oseary has been added to the shortlist of Simon Cowell ‘Idol’ replacements alongside radio DJ Howard Stern and producer Rodney Jenkins.
Simon Cowell is set to step down from the reality TV singing show later this year when he joins US’s version of X Factor, and now show insiders have told New York Daily News that Madonna’s longterm manager Oseary is also in talks to take the role as ‘Idol’ judge alongside Mariah Carey’s ex-husband and Sony owner Tommy Mottola, and Jamie Foxx.
A source said that “Guy has been in the music business since Madonna discovered him when he was 17, and he has a lot of the same experience as Simon.”
