Former Beatles star Ringo Starr, was presented with his very own star at the Walk of Fame in Hollywood yesterday evening, which according to a report at examiner.com, coincided with the ceremony’s 50th anniversary.
Ringo, who is in fact the third Beatle to have received a star, was treated to great accolades during the ceremony, by Ben Harper, Don Was and Joe Walsh. Starr said that he wanted to frame all the comments, and get a CD of it too.

He then went on to talk about his former Beatles bandmates – John Lennon, George Harrison and Paul McCartney. He said “The Beatles in my book, was the best band in the world.” And I’m sure that all their fans will agree as well.
Starr also said that he has three brothers, and they looked out for him while he looked out for them. After describing them as his closest friends, he referred to George and John’s stars which were next to his, saying “I love them both.”
