Brooklyn Decker’s Mom Cried: Reaction to Sports Illustrated Swimsuit

As we mentioned yesterday, model Brooklyn Decker, who is also the wife to tennis ace Andy Roddick, has managed to land herself on the cover of the prestigious Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue recently.

And according to nydailynews.com, no one could have been more proud of this than Brooklyn’s own family. In fact, the 22-year old beauty told people.com recently, that her mother just cried when she saw the photos.

Brooklyn said “we’re all on pins and needle before the issue comes out, because the cover is something all the girls want so badly. When speaking about the cover, Decker said “it’s shocking and a dream come true.”

The model, who was raised in north Carolina, made her first promotional appearance on Monday night, on “The Late Show with David Letterman.” She will then visit a few other talk shows, to promote her coveted new title.

And it appears that her husband Roddick is just as proud of his wife as well. He even took to Twitter on Monday night, to share the excitement for his wife. “So happy/proud of my wife” Roddick posted on his Twitter page.

I would’ve cried, too, if that were my daughter – but not out of pride. No wonder this girl would allow herself to be exploited this way. No morals.

I wonder if her mom is hot with nice gajungas too.

If that’s the real reason her mom cried, she probably has just as much lack of morality as her daughter. After all children learn from what their parents do, not what their parents say. I agree w/ Pat. I’d cry, too, if that were my daughter, but not out of pride. The husband must not be very smart or maybe she’s the one that wears the pants in that house. I guess he doesn’t care much for his wife’s reputation and decency. I wonder if he really loves her. Is sad that some girls see selling their bodies as a major accomplishment. God’s looking down on us and He’s not impressed. Parent’s protect your children from the scum that’s in today’s pop culture.
