Premiership Preview February 10th: Arsenal vs Liverpool

Arsenal and Liverpool meet at the Emirates Stadium tonight in a Premiership clash, so far both teams have suffered a bizarre season both on and off the field.

The successive losses to their rivals has led many to rule Arsenal out of the title race, Liverpool’s season has been frustrating for their supporters, not only because of their underachieving but also due to the current hierarchically unstable state of the club.

If Liverpool win they will move to within two points of Wenger’s side, this will help them reach their target which is to finish as a top-four place team this season, this will secure them a place in next season’s UEFA Champions League.

The last time Liverpool won away in the league to Arsenal was in 2000, in this game Titi Camara scored the only goal in the match.

Arsenal’s squad is pretty strong but not complete, Nicklas Bendtner could start after coming off the bench against Chelsea, however Kieran Gibbs (foot) and Johan Djourou (knee) remain unavailable.

Liverpool are again without injury-prone midfielder Alberto Aquilani due to illness, centre-back Sotirios Kyrgiakos (banned), star striker Fernando Torres (knee), Yossi Benayoun (rib) and Johnson (knee).

Who do you think will come out on top in this big game??
