Toy Story 3 New Characters

The third and final trailer for the new “Toy Story 3” movie, which is due out on June 18th, arrives this week and to mark the occasion, Disney and Pixar have started to officially introduce the 14 new characters that will be joining the likes of Buzz, Woody and gang.

And here we have news on just three of them of the new toys making their debut in “Toy Story 3,” which includes Ken Doll, Peas-in-a-Pod and Lots-o’-Huggin’ Bear. So let is start with the first new character to be joining the gang – Ken Doll.

Lee Unkrich, who is in fact the director of “Toy Story 3,” said that the Ken character has changed a lot over the years. This model of Ken, which according to usatoday.com is voiced by Michael Keaton, comes with sockless loafers, gold belt and a bandana.

Another character being introduced is Peas-in-a-Pod. Unkrich said that even jock guys would find this felt covered threesome adorable. At this stage in time, the voice talent for Peas-in-a-Pod has not been announced, but I’m sure they will pick someone good.

And lastly, we have Lots-o’-Huggin’ Bear, who is in fact the franchise’s first stuffed animal. Unkrich described this pink bear, which is voiced by veteran actor Ned Beatty, as a warm, grandfatherly figure, who watches over all the other toys at the day care center.
