If you are an NBA fan, then it is very likely that you will already know that the 2010 NBA All-Star Game is due to take place this Sunday, at the Dallas Cowboys’ Stadium in Texas. But it appears that 2 of NBA’s most well known players will apparently be sitting it out.
According to a recent report at ecanadanow.com, it is due to an injury, that LA Lakers star player Kobe Bryant is missing Sunday’s game, in an attempt to further rehabilitate. Bryant is reportedly being replaced in the game by point guard Jason Kidd, of the Dallas Mavericks.

Allen Iverson, who plays for the Philadelphia 79ers, is also likely to miss the All-Star game but it is not because of injury. Iverson is healthy himself, but wants to spend the long weekend with his ailing daughter. He will be replaced by David Lee, who is averaging over 20 points a game.
Sunday’s 2010 NBA All-Star game is scheduled to take place at the new Cowboys stadium in Dallas, and is widely expected to draw in a record crowd which could possibly exceed 100,000. Other events this weekend include a slam dunk contest, skills challenge and a 3-point contest.
