Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains, Episode 1 Recap

If you just happen to be a “Survivor” fan, then you may well have known that it returned to our screens last night, with a new season titled “Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains.” And this season, features contestants from all the previous seasons.

And it all started off, with the ‘Heroes and Villains’ arriving in groups onboard four helicopters. For the challenge, pairs from each tribe had to dig through the sand for one bag. To score the points, one had to race back to the mat with the bag in hand.

Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains, Episode 1 Recap

The Heroes won this challenge 3-2, but it wasn’t without its drama. Stephenie managed to dislocate her shoulder, Rupert broke his toe, Russell was doing a wrestling move on Randy, and Coach dragged Colby, who was holding the bag, to their mat.

Of course, the Villains just headed to the camp all feeling dejected, but it appears that Russell already had his game on. While the reds had a hard time building a shelter and starting a fire, the Heroes built a decent shelter quite quickly.

Next up it was the immunity challenge, which kicked off with the Heroes having a chicken for breakfast while the Villains had nothing. 6 tribe members had to assemble a boat and row offshore to grab a fire, while the others solve a puzzle.

The Heroes may have started off well, but everything seemed to collapse with the puzzle. The Villains then win the immunity challenge. And after all the voting was over and done with, it was Sugar that was voted off.
