If you are a cricket fan, then you may well have been watching the first one-day international match of the three-match series, which is taking place at the Sawai Man Singh Stadium today. India headed into today’s match with confidence, to face up against South Africa.
According to a report at mynews.in, the Indian team, who managed to retain their top spot in the ICC Test rankings recently, were playing a young side today, against the more experienced South African team. But India may have the help of returning batsman Yusuf Pathan.

It was Jadeja who managed to push India ahead, with a steady spell of left-arm spin. He may not have got the ball to turn, but again and again he managed to slip that one ball that went straight on with the arm, which suffocated the batsmen.
South Africa finished the session in the same way they had started it, slow but did have their moments in the middle. It was actually the over from Sreesanth that turned things around for the team, who were dawdling on 21 at the end of the five overs.
Up until Sreesanth’s over, they had been struggling to get going. Despite the fact that no batsman got a big score, there were still enough handy contributions to push India to a good score. Every time India threatened to get ahead, South Africa would catch them up.
