One of the fights, which featured in last night’s UFC 110: Nogueira vs. Velasquez event was the middleweight bout between Wanderlei Silva, and Michael Bisping. And even before the fight started, Bisping looked fired up and raring to go.
Silva on the other hand, just looked relaxed as he made his way to the cage. Silva was the first to make contact, with a leg kick to Bisping, who then hit a takedown. Silva managed to push Bisping off of him, and blocked a kick to the body.

Bisping managed to get another takedown, but Wanderlei just got right back up. Bisping then landed a solid punch, but Silva pushed him back with a big right. The two fighters then traded kicks, with Silva managing to land a leg kick.
The first round was definitely a close one, but the scores ended in 10-9 for Bisping. Silva started off round two, with two inside leg kicks. Silva then swept Bisping to the ground, landed in his guard, and started trying for ground and pound.
This round went to Wanderlei Silva, with the judges all scoring 10-9 in his favour. Going into round 3, Bisping blocked a high kick from Silva. Bisping then threw a half-hearted flying knee at Silva, who retaliated by popping Bisping with a right hand.
Michael Bisping then hit a low blow, before taking a quick break. Bisping then landed a good body kick, but Silva soon swept Bisping to the ground. Wanderlei Silva is finally announced as the winner, by unanimous decision of 29-28.
