Director Martin Scorsese, and Hollywood actor Leonardo DiCaprio have worked together on a few films now, with the latest being “Shutter Island,” which opened last week. And now, it appears there will be yet another Scorsese/DiCaprio collaboration at some stage.
And according to azcentral.com, in the next collaboration, DiCaprio will be playing the legendary Frank Sinatra for Scorsese. But it is unlikely, that Leonardo will do any of the singing. When speaking at the “Shutter Island” premiere on Friday, Scorsese said “Frank will do the singing.”

They are still waiting for a finished script. While Scorsese is waiting, he will turn his attention to “The Invention of Hugo Cabret,” which is a historical-fiction book written by Brian Selznick. Martin apparently bought the screen rights to the book back in 2007.
“The Invention of Hugo Cabret” will be a family movie, unlike “Shutter Island,” which has been described as a complex and disturbing thriller and is based on the novel by Dennis Lehane. The movie stars Leonardo DiCaprio of course, as well as Michelle Williams and Ben Kingsley.
