Actress Caroline McWilliams Dies Aged 64

American actress Caroline McWilliams, who was well known for her part as Marcy Hill on the TV show “Benson,” sadly passed away on February 11th, at the age of 64. According to buddytv.com, she died from complications of multiple myeloma.

Despite being well known for the role of Marcy Hill, Caroline actually started her soap acting career in a show called “Guiding Light,” in which she played the character of Janet Norris from 1969 to 1975. She also starred in “Beverly Hills, 90210,” as LuAnn Pruit.

After getting her taste of the limelight, McWilliams, who was married to “Batman” actor Michael Keaton for nearly eight years until they divorced in 1990, decided to work behind the camera instead, and directed plays such as “The Smoke and Ice Follies.”

She is survived by her and Michael Keaton’s 26-year old son Sean Douglas. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends at this very sad time.
