Dakota Fanning: ‘Runaways’ Star Turns Sweet 16

Young Hollywood actress Dakota Fanning, who has starred in movies such as “Man on Fire,” “War of the Worlds” and “New Moon,” has recently celebrated a very special birthday – her sweet 16th – and according to hollywoodcrush.mtv.com, she celebrated it with friends and family.

According to the report, Dakota, who actually turned 16 today, was joined by about 40 people who are all close to her, at Villa Blanca in Beverly Hills on Saturday night. A source said that the teen actress looked like she was having fun, talking to her friends and laughing all night.

The get together was said to have started at around 7pm, and ended sometime around 11pm. During the celebrations, Dakota, who also happens to be a cheerleader within the school she attends, blew out the candles atop her three-layered chocolate mousse birthday cake.
