A report surfaced in the National Enquirer earlier this week, which claimed that Oprah Winfrey had given her “personal go-ahead” to film a pilot for a talk show that was said to star former “American Idol” judge and singer Paula Abdul, for the Oprah Winfrey Network.
The paper apparently reported that Abdul’s show was to feature celebrity guests and regular people, telling their inspirational stories. But according to a recent report at acceshollywood.com, a rep for OWN said today, that there is no truth to the rumors at all.

In addition to that, a rep for Paula herself could not confirm the rumor. This may have been sparked by a comment Paula made earlier this month, about her future plans. While appearing on the “John Jay & Rich Show,” Paula said she would be doing a TV show.
There have been various other reports surfacing recently, which have suggested she is in talks with Simon Cowell, to bring her to his US version of the “X Factor,” which he will apparently launch on Fox in the fall of 2011. Those rumors are not confirmed either.
