Hilary Duff Engagement: The $1m ring from Mike Comrie

As we mentioned a few days ago, actress/singer Hilary Duff has recently announced her engagement to NHL’s Mike Comrie, who currently plays for the Edmonton Oilers. And it appears that the focus for many people is her engagement ring, which is apparently worth $1 million.

According to a recent report on buddytv.com, 29-year old Comrie was said to have popped the big question to Duff, who is most recently known for playing Olivia Burke on “Gossip Girl,” while they were on vacation at the Four Seasons Hotel in Maui, Hawaii on Friday.

Hilary of course said yes to her boyfriend of over two years Comrie, who then gave her a shiny 14-carat princess-cut rock for her finger. Her rep Nancy Ryder confirmed the engagement news to People, and said that they were very excited to be sharing the happy news.

Just like Duff’s engagement ring, most of Comrie’s gifts to her don’t exactly come cheap. On her 20th birthday, Comrie was reported to have given Duff a $100,000 US Mercedes. And now, he is reportedly looking at a $10 million Beverly Hills home to move into with his future wife.
