Lost Final Season: Episode 5 Recap, ‘Lighthouse’

The sixth and final season of “Lost” continued last night, with the airing of episode 5 – “Lighthouse.” And it looks like we are going to see the same thing going on in every episode from now on, the “Lost” characters on both the island, and in the Altverse.

So let’s start with Jack in the Altverse. It begins with Jack taking his shirt off, where we can see the appendectomy scar he shouldn’t have, considering it wasn’t taken out until he was on the island. But it’s soon revealed that his appendix was taken out when he was 7.

We then saw Jack pick up a boy called David from school. A kid that just happens to be his son! We then learned that David only sees his dad once a month. Meanwhile, over at Mrs. Shepherd’s house, the family find Jack’s dad Christian’s will.

Jack then returned from getting a pizza, only to find that David is missing. He run over to David’s mother’s house, and learned that his son David is a piano prodigy, who apparently had an audition for a music conservatory. Now to the island!!

Back on the island, Hurley got another assignment from Jacob’s ghost. Hurley then had to take Jack through a secret tunnel in the temple, to go somewhere and help bring someone else to the island. Jack and Hurley then stumbled across Kate.

Hurley and Jack kept on going, until they came to a giant stone lighthouse. Yes, there appears to have been a lighthouse on the island the whole time, we just never saw it before. We then learned that there are all the numbers and names at the lighthouse too.

On another part of the episode, we see Claire on the island. She not only brought Jin back to her camp, but also brought back a surviving other. She then started to grill him, asking him questions on where her baby is but he knows nothing about Aaron.

She was just about to kill the other, when Jin spoke up, and said that Kate had taken Aaron. Claire then paused, but decided to kill the Other anyway. Jin then told Claire he lied about Kate raising the baby, and says that the Others do have him.
