If you have been waiting for Jessica Simpson’s much-anticipated new VH1 reality TV series, then you really don’t have to wait too long. According to a recent report at usmagazine.com, Jessica’s new show – “The Price of Beauty” – premieres on March 15th.
In the opening moments of her new show, 29-year old Jessica says “There’s so much pressure on women to be beautiful.” She then goes on to ask the question: “But what defines beauty?” And I guess that is what we’ll find out in her new reality TV series.
The new show sees Jessica traveling around the world, to learn what women in different cultures do to feel beautiful. Oh and apparently, Simpson is going to be bringing her best friends CeCee Cobb and hairstylist Ken Paves along for the ride as well.
And judging by the first two episodes of the series, it looks like Simpson’s latest TV effort is like “The Amazing Race,” meets “Oprah.” Within the show, Simpson will get a mild taste of cultural flavor – sampling fried cockroaches in Thailand – and interview people.
