The 2010 NFL Scouting Combine kicked off today, in which many college football players undergo both mental and physical tests – including bench press, 40-yard dash, broad jump and drug screen – in front of scouts, general managers and NFL coaches.
According to a report at sfgate.com, Maryland’s offensive tackle Bruce Campbell posted the fourth fastest time in combine history for an offensive lineman today, at 4:85. In addition to that, he also hiked up 32 reps of 225 pounds on the bench press test.

Another player who appeared really smooth as a runner was Oklahoma’s Trent Williams, who managed to post a 4:88. He could well make him a possibility for the 49ers. Other times include 5:46 for West Virginia’s Ed Wang and 5:51 for Iowa’s Kyle Calloway.
