Actually, the show seems boring now. There's no chemistry at all. You could tell there was with Paula and Simon. Now that Simon will be leaving after this season, I unfortunately think the show may be doomed. X-Factor will take over and with Paula and Simon PROBABLY together again, I think people would rather watch that instead of American Idol. I don't think Ellen brings that much to the table. This is obviously for record companies to make money .....that is the main reason -- they are young and the record companies require this so they can continue to make big bucks for as long as possible. how can U as the person i thought i actually KNEW and respected appear on this show? this shows you agree with the age limit, do you REALLY? there are so many other people over the stupid age limit who can perform and are NOT allowed to. If you made a mistake, then please correct it and say something on your awesome daytime show to convey this. I am so upset by this, it not only takes precedence on american idol, but in so many other ways.
