But according to gather.com, there was just two more events taking place today, before the Closing Ceremony can begin. The USA versus Canada hockey gold medal game was the first event (3pm Eastern) and the hand-off to the Winter Olympics to Russia.

The Vancouver 2010 Closing Ceremony will be a traditional ceremony, which will show the world just how the athletes have enjoyed the games, as well as showing what is to come in the future. And apparently, there is also a little humor promised.
