Third baseman for the New York Yankees Alex “A-Rod” Rodriguez – who was involved in a “fender-bender” with his $400,000 Maybach recently – has apparently been contacted by federal investigators recently, regarding a Canadian doctor who has been accused of selling an unapproved drug.
On Monday, Rodriguez said that he was aware of the investigation, and says that he is planning on cooperating with the government officials who are looking into Dr. Anthony Galea. Although A-Rod said that a date for an interview, has not been set yet, and says that he is just waiting for instructions.

According to a recent report at edmontonjournal.com, Galea is facing four charges in Canada, related to a drug known as Actovegin, which is apparently extracted from calf’s blood and used for healing. Among the athletes that Galea is said to have treated, is golfing legend Tiger Woods and Jose Reyes.
