Adam Lambert recently spoke to CNN about his recent visit to an East Los Angeles School where he distributed classroom supplies and said that the kids don’t really about the controversy that surrounds him.
Lambert, who initiated a controversial performance at the American Music Awards last year said that none of the kids at the school asked him about the performance and said it is only the parents that cared about the controversy that sparked complaints.
The For Your Entertainment singer performed ‘Whataya Want From Me’ with the children, but still said that the parents made so much of a big deal out of the performance, that they drew more attention to it, therefore it was more visible to the children in the first place.
Lambert and his fans helped raise more than $290,000 for the school supplies that went through non-profit website DonorsChoose.
