When it was announced that “American Idol” contestant Crystal Bowersox had been hospitalized on Tuesday, everyone was left wondering if she’d be okay to perform. Luckily for Crystal, “American Idol” had switched the schedule around, so she could perform on Wednesday.
But at the time, there was still doubt amongst everyone, as they weren’t sure what she had been hospitalized for, and whether she would be out of hospital in time for Wednesday evening’s live show. And for those of you who watched it will know that she was okay.
After spending Tuesday night in hospital for what has been said to be a diabetes scare, Bowersox returned to the stage and sang her little heart out. Last week Crystal was a little shaky on her Alanis Morisette cover, which earned her some negative remarks from the judges.
This week, she blasted out a great rendition of “Long as I Can See the Light,” despite having been ill the day before. She definitely showed no signs of illness, and was all smiles to boot. Simon even praised her for not playing up her illness for sympathy.
