FIFA World Cup 2010: John Abraham will watch live

Former model and Bollywood actor John Abraham admits to being a huge football fan and when it comes to the FIFA World Cup 2010, he will be watching it live in South Africa. And according to sify.com, he will be rooting for the Spaniards.

When speaking to reporters at a press conference held by Castrol – the official sponsors of the 2010 World Cup – John said “I am going to South Africa to watch the FIFA World Cup.” And he’s chosen Spain, as one of his favorite teams.

Besides John – whose films include “Kabul Express,” “Zinda” and “Dhan Dhana Dhan Goal” in which he played a footballer – 29 winners of the Castrol 2010 FIFA World Cup Promotion, will also be able to go to South Africa and watch a match with the star.

Asked about who his favorite players are, John said “World Cup always gives new players. The old favorites are Lionel Messi (Argentina) and Cristiano Ronaldo (Portugal) and a lot of other players I assume are going to do well in this world cup.”
