Seaworld 911 Call Released: ‘Send The Paramedics’

According to a recent report over at news.sky.com, the emergency calls which were made by workers at the SeaWorld center where trainer Dawn Brancheau was killed by a killer whale recently have now reportedly been released by officials.

The recordings apparently show the increasing concern of Brancheau’s SeaWorld colleagues, as the seriousness of the incident starts to dawn on them. In the first of the 911 calls, a colleague says that Dawn has been pulled into the water by the killer whale.

“We have a trainer in the water with one of our whales,” the woman was heard saying on the call. She then told the 911 operator, that it was a whale that they weren’t meant to be in the water with. In the next call, she says that a defibrillator had been got ready.

Then in the third call, she tells the ambulance controller to just send the paramedics directly into the park. 40-year old Brancheau was sadly killed by the whale – which is called Tilikum – when she was dragged into the water tank by her ponytail.
