Under Siege: Tiger’s Caddie

Ever since the news broke of golfing legend Tiger Woods’ infidelities last November, his caddie Steve Williams has been under siege. Williams has said that in some people’s eyes, he was involved in it some way, because of being a close friend of Tiger’s.

But as we mentioned in a post yesterday, Steve Williams has spoken out in an interview on “60 Minutes” recently, and claimed that he knew nothing about the affairs. He also added that if he had of known, he would have “blown the whistle” on the golfer.

During the interview, Williams said that he has been “under siege” since the revelations last November, and said that it has been a difficult time for him. But Williams added that although he’s still angry with the world’s No. 1, he won’t be “beating him with a stick.”

Williams explained the reason for his anger, saying that he is close to Tiger’s wife Elin and that Tiger has two lovely children, and says that Tiger has let them down. Steve said that when he talks to Woods, he talks to him about the future, rather than about what happened.
