Pistons’ Rodney Stuckey Collapses: Prayers from Other Players

When the Detroit Pistons vs. the Cleveland Cavaliers NBA game took place last night, rivalry turned out to be the last thing on all the players’ minds. It was during Friday night’s game, that Pistons’ point guard Rodney Stuckey collapsed and was taken to hospital.

According to a report at freep.com, Stuckey collapsed on the bench during a time-out in the third quarter. TV replays show Stuckey shaking, in what looked to be a seizure. And many online reports, have since claimed that Stuckey suffered a violent seizure.

And shortly after the apparent seizure, the players from both teams, the Pistons and the Cavaliers, formed a circle on the floor of the Quicken Loans Arena, to pray for Rodney Stuckey and his family. “LeBron James said that at a time like that, all players become one family.

After receiving some medical attention, he was taken to the Cleveland clinic where he appeared to be okay. But his teammates were still shaken by the incident. Charlie Villanueva said that he had never witnessed anything like that in his career, and said that it was scary.
