I don’t know whether you’ve noticed, but the world of TV and film just seems to be all about remakes nowadays. Take TV for example: over the last year or so, we have seen remakes of “Knight Rider,” “Melrose Place” and even the classic sci-fi show “V.”
The world of Hollywood isn’t much different either, with movie remakes such as “Alice in Wonderland,” “King Kong,” and “The Italian Job.” And now it appears that another remake is on its way. The latest movie to be getting a reboot is “Honey I Shrunk the Kids.”

According to an article at showbizgossips.com, Disney Pictures is considering a reboot of the classic 1989 movie, but without its original lead actor Rick Moranis. According to one of the movie crew members, the film is already in the pre-production stage.
For those of you who are either too young to know the movie or those who have never watched it before: “Honey I Shrunk the Kids” is all about an inventor (Rick Moranis), whose children accidentally get shrunk by a shrink ray that he just happens to have invented.
