It was the funeral service of Marie Osmond’s 18-year old son Michael Bryan – who died on February 26th after jumping from his eighth floor apartment in an apparent suicide – yesterday. He was being remembered by friends and family as a funny person, a gifted musician, and a peacemaker.
Services were being held at noon on Monday, at a chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Provo. According to fox13now.com, around 450 people attended the services, where LDS Church President Thomas S. Monson gave the closing remarks.

During the funeral, family members shared their memories of Bryan. The service also included a hymn, which was sung by Marie and Donny Osmond, and five of their siblings. Michael’s uncle Jimmy said a few words, describing Bryan as a peacemaker, and a wonderful boy.
Bryan’s brother Steven Craig – Marie Osmond’s son from her first marriage – even performed a song that he wrote after his grandfather had passed away two years ago. He said that he and Bryan used to sing and write together, so it was a great experience to express his love for his brother.
