We have some sad news for film fans out there now, as it appears that Hollywood actor Corey Haim – the star of movies such as “The Lost Boys,” “The Dream Machine” and “Never Too Late” – has just been found dead, at the mere age of 38.
According to a report at people.com, the Los Angeles Police – who confirmed the news to TV station KTLA – said that it is believed that the actor, who did have a long history of problems with substance-abuse, died from an accidental overdose at 3:30am on Wednesday.

Haim was reportedly found unresponsive at his apartment in Southern California, and his mother was apparently with him at the time. The “License to Drive” actor was then pronounced dead at the Providence St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Burbank.
Corey first shot to fame in the 1980’s, after he starred in several films. But more notably, he collaborated on numerous occasions with Corey Feldman, dubbing them “The Two Coreys.” Although he had a successful career, he still struggled with drugs.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to his friends and family.
