Lost Season 6: Episode 7 ‘Dr. Linus’ Recap

Did anyone miss last night’s episode of “Lost” by any chance? If you did, we have a quick recap for you to give you an idea of what happened. And in last night’s episode – which was the seventh episode and titled “Dr. Linus” – we got to see the two different sides again.

In the altverse, we saw Ben Linus as the European history teacher – who if you remember met altverse Locke last week – who was educating his children about the island of Elba, and how being exiled wasn’t the worst thing for Napoleon, but the lack of power was.

Later that night, Ben was whining about his life and how pathetic it is to his father Roger, who regrets leaving the Island and the DHARMA Initiative. Then Alex – Ben’s adopted daughter on the Island – showed up and told Ben that she saw the principal and the nurse together.

Now it gets to the part on the Island, where Hurley and Jack were heading back to the Temple. They then bumped into Richard Alpert, who was on his way to the Black Rock. When all three of them arrived at the Black Rock, Richard dismissed Jacob as a liar and went in to die.

However, he couldn’t kill himself but if Jack lit the fuse on the Black Rock dynamite, he could kill him. So Jack lit the fuse, but decided to stay behind. He has a theory now that the Island wants to keep him alive and feels that the dynamite would not explode with him sitting there.

And of course, he was right. We then saw Ben on the Island, meeting up with Sun, Miles, Ilana and Lapidus. Ilana then gave the bag of Jacob’s ashes to Miles, so he could work out how Jacob really died. That’s when they found out that it was Ben who killed Jacob.

The group then headed to the beach camp, where they tied Ben up and told him to dig his own grave. But Ben then explained why he killed Jacob, and the group invited him back to the camp. Right at the end, we see a submarine, which just happens to have Charles Widmore inside.
