Rascal Flatts’ Joe Don Rooney and Wife Expecting Baby No. 2

It looks like there’s good news for Rascal Flatts’ guitarist Joe Don Rooney and his wife Tiffany Fallon, as it’s just been announced that they are expecting their second child. “We’re a little more prepared but eh same excitement is there,” Joe told people.com.

The couple are already parents, to 21-month old son Jagger Donovan, who doesn’t quite understand about a baby brother or sister yet. “There’s such fulfilment in being a father and it’s going to be two-fold now, which is so cool,” 34-year old Rooney said about baby No. 2.

Rooney’s 35-year old wife Fallon, who is due in September, apparently told Rooney that she was pregnant while staying in the same hotel in Los Angeles, where he learned that they were expecting their son Jagger. Joe and Tiffany have decided to find out the sex of the baby.

“Tiff’s all about decorating rooms, so she’s got to know. She’s got to prepare the nest,” Rooney said about his wife. And it appears that they have been betting on the sex of the baby already, with Rooney betting it’s a girl and Fallon suspecting it’s another boy.

The one thing that is looking kind of difficult right now is making sure that Rooney is there, to greet his new son or daughter. “I’ll be on tour this September and the Rascal Flatts machine is not stopping for anybody, Rooney said. But he went on to say that he has to be at the birth.
