America’s Next Top Model Cycle 14, Episode 1 Recap

Last night saw the return of the popular reality TV series “America’s Next Top Model” and believe it or not, we are now into Cycle 14. And according to an article on buddytv.com, there have been a couple of changes to the show for this season.

The first change to the show is that the first two episodes are now 90-minutes long, and the second change is that Vogue’s Andre Leon Talley has joined the judges table. So let’s get straight on to meeting the new batch of aspiring models.

First we have Alaisa, who appeared to start picking fights with almost everyone, and for no apparent reason. Then we have Alexandra, who claims she was six feet tall in the 8th grade. Then it was Angela, who considers herself as “misunderstood.”

Next up we have Anslee. Before the show started, she said it would be awful if they cut all her hair off, which they apparently did. Then we have Brenda, who looked like the spitting image of Ziggy Stardust after she had had her hair done.

Then there is Gabrielle, who is half-black, half-German. Next there is Jessica, who was pregnant at 16, married at 17, and is now living in the “Top Model” house at 18. Then we have Krista, who says she doesn’t want to date white boys.

The ninth aspiring model is Naduah, who claims that she was raised in a cult. Next up was Raina, who appeared to have the Brooke Shields “Blue Lagoon” look going on. At number 11 there was Ren, who calls herself a “free bird who can’t be caged.”

And the 12th competitor on the list is Simone, who says she wants to be a Victoria’s Secret model, or Hilary Clinton?? And finally we had Tatiana, who said that she’s a volunteer mortician. That’s right; she embalms people for a living!
