
Amy Winehouse turns fashion designer

It seems that Madonna is not alone in bringing out a new fashion range this year. Amy Winehouse, who is well known for her distinctive style, is also turning her hand to fashion designing with her own collection.
The troubled performer has joined forces with Fred Perry to create a 17-piece retro-inspired wardrobe, consisting of capri trousers, cardigans and mini-dresses. The collection is due to be released in October of this year.
According to Richard Martin who is Fred Perry’s marketing director Amy has been wearing Fred Perry clothing for some time, it is believed that Amy has been very hands on with the collection. The collection, which will wholesale around $32 and $150 is said to be mainly black and pink.
