There was another episode of “American Idol” last night and as many of you will know, it was the episode in which the final Top 12 was to be revealed. And according to zap2it.com, the show appeared to drag out the final results last night, with more drama.
As well as finding out who was going home and who had made it through to the final 12, there was also a couple of performances. The first performance of the night was a group song, with all of the Top 16 performing Michael Buble’s “Just Haven’t Met You Yet.”

The other planned musical event of the night, was a performance by season 8’s Matt Giraud and Scott MacIntyre. They performed Billy Joel’s “Tell Her About It,” while MacIntyre promoted his new 2010 album that’s called “Heartstrings.”
Now let’s get on with the results. The girls who made it through to this year’s Top 12 are Katie Stevens, Lacey Brown, Crystal Bowersox, Paige Miles, Siobhan Magnus and Didi Benami. This meant that Lilly Scott and Katelyn Epperly got sent home.
Meanwhile, on the boys’ side it was Andrew Garcia, Aaron Kelly, Michael Lynche, LeeDeWyze, Tim Urban and Casey James who made it to the Top 12. This obviously meant that Todrick Hall and Alex Lambert hadn’t made it through and were leaving.
