American Idol 2010: Were The Right Contestants Voted Off?

When “American Idol” finally got round to revealing their Top 12 contestants on Thursday night’s episode, the results definitely came as a shock to many. I think the nation had completely different names in mind of people to be going home.

According to eonline.com, the first couple of ladies to learn their fates were Katelyn Epperly and Paige Miles. Neither of them had a really great night on Tuesday’s performance night, but Katelyn had previously had some good moments on the show.

Paige on the other hand, had possibly disappointed throughout. But unfortunately, it was Katelyn that got sent home. Todrick Hall was then told by Ryan that he was being sent home, while Lee Dewyze was told that he’d made the Top 12.

Alex Lambert was then told he hadn’t made the Top 12 either, which made him immediately tear up. Then there was yet another shocker, when Lilly Scott was told that she hadn’t made it to the final Top 12, but 17-year old Katie Stevens had.

Do you think the wrong people were sent packing this week?

I agree; he has a really special voice and I liked him from the outset. I felt the judges hammering on about his shyness made a difference to the voting.

And what about the voting off of Lily who is soooo talented; and then Paige continues…sorry, she’s been really poor and doesn’t deserve the place she has!

We are watching (delayed) in South Africa and really love the show!!We just find some of the voting weird….
