While some “American Idol” fans may have agreed with the Top 12 results on Thursday, others were left disappointed and feeling as though the wrong people were voted off. And some of those people include fans of Alex Lambert.
Alex was unfortunately one of the contestants that didn’t quite make it through to the final 12, on Thursday night. And since then, his fans have decided to create a petition to bring him back, stating that he’s better than the Top 12.

And according to a recent article at examiner.com, since the petition to reinstate Alex Lambert has been doing its rounds on the Internet, it’s managed to collect nearly 10,000 signatures. Obviously there’s a lot of people wanting him back.
As you will all know, the other three contestants that were voted off with Alex Lambert were Kate Epperly, Todrick Hall and Lilly Scott. It’s unlikely that a petition will actually bring Alex back, but to his fans it’s definitely worth a go.
