Charlie Sheen to Plead ‘Not Guilty’ in Domestic Assault Case

Actor Charlie Sheen was scheduled to appear in an Aspen courtroom today, to apparently enter his plea on the domestic assault charges he is facing. And according to a report at zap2it.com, Sheen isn’t expecting to be in there long.

In fact, the “Two and a Half Men” star’s publicist Stand Rosenfield said that they had been told Sheen was going to be in there for less than five minutes. And if you are wondering what his plea is going to be, it’s expected to be not guilty.

Rosenfield also stated that Sheen’s appearance today – Monday, 15th March – was for the sole purpose of entering his plea. The actor’s hearing was scheduled for 1:15 PST (2:15pm Aspen time). If Sheen’s found guilty, he could face up to 5 years in prison.

The 44-year old actor may have distracted people recently with the news of him re-entering rehab, but before then he was in the headlines for allegedly holding a knife to his wife Brooke Mueller, and apparently threatening to kill her.
