The funeral of actor Corey Haim – the star of “The Lost Boys” who died at the age of 38 last week – is taking place tomorrow. But according to a report at eonline.com, there is one person that definitely isn’t attending, his best friend and former co-star Corey Feldman.
Feldman issued a statement recently, saying that he would love nothing more to be by the side of Haim’s mom Judy at Corey’s funeral, but because of the family’s strong religious beliefs and need for privacy, they have decided to make Tuesday’s funeral a small private matter.

“Understanding the recent media attention and to be respectful of the family’s wishes, I have decided not to attend,” he continued on to say. Feldman didn’t comment on the way that the Haim family are affording to pay for Corey’s funeral, but did say what he’d be doing instead.
“Instead, I will remain in Los Angeles quietly mourning and planning his memorial,” Corey said. He then went on to say that he is currently working with a few people who were close to the former teen star, to put a memorial together within the next month.
